According to Emarketer: Google, Facebook and Twitter drive the growth of the mobile advertising market

Google’s U.S. mobile advertising drive the revenue will reach an estimat $4 billion (3.039 billion euros) next year, while Facebook’s nascent mobile advertising business will double in 2013, according to a new study by eMarketer.

Marketers are increasing spending on ads that reach consumers via their smartphones and tablets at a much faster pace than expect, eMarketer said Monday.

The firm said it expects total mobile advertising spending in the Unit States in 2012 to rise 180 percent year-on-year to more than $4 billion, a sharp revision from its September forecast of $2.61 billion.
