Claranet buys French company Typhon

The recent acquisitions of Star buys French Technology Services (complet in the UK last November), CGEST (acquir in Portugal last July) and Typhon (in France) make Claranet the largest European mid-tier provider of integrat Hosting and Networking services.

Claranet, one of Europe’s leading providers of manag IT services, has acquir French Hosting and Open Source Applications company Typhon for a total consideration of €4.2 million, continuing its ambitious growth strategy in Europe. This acquisition, together with the recent acquisition of Star Technology Services in the UK, confirms Claranet’s position as Europe’s largest mid-tier provider of integrat Hosting and Networking services.

As a result of this acquisition, the Claranet Group will have annual revenues of more than €154 million, nearly 700 employees, more than 4,700 customers and operations in the Unit Kingdom, France, Germany, the adb directory Netherlands, Spain and Portugal.
